“As the Head of Marketing at Pronto Software, I understand the importance of delivering a seamless and engaging online event.” Before choosing the best platform for our recent launch, I carefully looked at three different vendors. Unfortunately, on the day of the event, the streaming performance was not up to par and we had to resort to recording the presentations. That was until a referral led us to Bettercast. Ben and his team were able to step in quickly and save the day. They made sure that our content was transferred and sent to our audience without any problems. I went to bed peacefully, knowing that Bettercast was in control thanks to their experience with large, complex events and their seamless solution.

“Switching to Bettercast was the best decision we made.”

Pronto Software is a 40-year-old company that makes enterprise resource planning software. Recently, Nathan Sawicki, who is in charge of marketing for the company, led the company’s biannual online launch. Pronto Software has customers all over the world, but most of its work is in the US, Europe, and Australia. The launch was a major event that involved four streams over the course of three and a half days, with an estimated 1500 or more customers joining.

The team at Pronto Software was responsible for choosing a vendor that could provide an engaging online experience for their customers, as well as a simple user interface for attendees. They reviewed three different vendors before making a decision based on cost, user experience, and the ability to utilize partner solutions for communication and messaging.

However, on the day of the launch, the streaming performance of the selected vendor failed, causing significant technical issues. The keynote presentation continued, but the streaming quality was not up to par, and attendees were quick to express their frustration through the chat box.

Even though they were upset, Pronto Software kept recording the presentations for the rest of the day and had backup recordings of what happened on the first day. Nathan Sowicki was put in touch with Bettercast through an AV contact, and he was able to connect with Ben, the CEO of Bettercast, on their weekly leadership call.

Ben and his team were able to quickly spin off the event to Bettercast, and Nathan Sowicki was able to provide the new registration page and details to their customer base. The reference from the AV team, which had used Bettercast for other large events, gave Nathan peace of mind, and he went to bed that night knowing that the situation was under control.

In the end, Pronto Software’s online launch was a success, thanks to Bettercast’s ability to provide a seamless and engaging experience for attendees. Nathan Sowicki was impressed with Bettercast’s quick response and their ability to effectively manage the event, even under challenging circumstances.

“Bettercast was fantastic,” says Nathan Sowicki. “Their team was able to quickly spin off our event to their platform, and provide our customer base with the new registration page and details. The reference from the AV team gave me peace of mind, and I was able to sleep peacefully knowing that the situation was under control.”
